So, over the last few days I think I have read nearly all the posts on auto trans temp gauge systems using the OBD connector. Some will say some aftermarket products work in the Tacoma, then others will say the same system doesn't work. I hate to start a new thread, but I just want to know, does anyone make a gauge system for auto trans temp that uses the OBD connector that shows auto trans temps for a 2014 Tacoma? If not, what old school method are you using and from what manufacturer?

    Thanks

Ok, great! So are they plug and play, or do they need to be programmed? If they need to be programmed is there a sticky for that? I saw lots of postings about programming in the different threads, but some of the suggested programming posts were in conflict with each other. I didn't see a sticky, so I'm guessing there isn't one, unless it's inside another? Is there a preference between the Scangauge II or the Ultragauge?

    Thanks again!!

scangauge can be programmed with a new x-gauge (or two)
to read two tranny temps, the hot side and cold side

ultragauge can supposedly but the threads about doing it I am unsure of

    search
the scangauge x-gauge parameters are in here somewhere
