I lost track thousands of dollars ago.
I got the 60 grit yesterday and they work like a flap disk should. I wanted to put one to the test so I blended the welds on 3 skids. Took a little longer then my 7" but I wanted to see how well they lasted.

The only thing I didn't like is they are not threaded so you need to use your arbor clamps that come with your grinder. And it sticks way out limiting how much you can use the disk.

So is what I did was grind down the one from my flat sanding disk adapter and now it is perfect.

Here is a side by side of a new one and the one I used on 3 skids as will as other things around the shop pretty good life if you ask me.

In all they are a hell of a deal for 1.19 each and if they are that price again I will be buying 100's more but for now I've got 200 to use up

X2 I try to buy all my stuff online but I can't always plan it out right and run out before the new ones come in. HF is cheap so if I have to buy at a store most of the time its HF or HD if I don't have the time to drive to Concord.

Check ebay....seriously. Summit has a store that sells a variety of sizes and stick lengths. Pretty cheap too.

Yeah for some reason DOM comes in various lengths my tubing supplier does the same thing. Most of the time they come in 24' sticks when I order but Ive gotten 16's 18's even 10's when it gets delivered.

wow thats gotta suck! all my local shops sell everything in 20 foot lengths, and they stock almost everything and rarely run out plus they deliver to my door for $50. although i normally just rummage through there scrap piles for anything i need, since its on average about 20% cheaper per foot.

Ya I've always gotten pieces of DOM about 18ft long.
The HREW tube always comes in full sticks, its only DOM that comes in random lengths. Kinda annoying when you plan out using each stick fully and then you cant cut the pieces that you need since the stick is a few inches too short. Ive had to order another stick of DOM before just because of that. :frusty:

I run into the same issue with DOM I need 80ft and ended up with 6 sticks. Sucks when building cages to SCCA spec and you half to run a continues piece.

Good to know man, I was on the fence for whether I really needed a 32 but now I'm really glad I went that route..also after watching the videos for the two I kind of did notice the spring back in the model 3. It might be awhile before I get to use that notchmaster but I'll be sure to post up when i do.

    Hahaha..I'll keep that in mind
