    debatable if you ask me . ive used flux cored wire on shit and haven't had an problems. just wun a wire wheel over it and knock off the splatter balls
    yup. just dont run flux core down hill and your good

    It's for rear. Looks like it'd involve cutting the stock bump strike plate to weld the can in place of it so strikes the flip kit plate.

    Any tips on overhead welding? Generic tips on how to adjust from normal setting...ie hotter, faster wire speed etc.

    I really only have trouble when I get out of position and am welding on the inderside of something, the weld pool keeps wanting to drip out. Any tips would be greta!

    Try turning the wire speed up a little. If I remember correctly the wire speed also controls amps. Something along those lines. May need to turn the heat up as well. Just takes practice and figuring out the settings. I used to burn the crap out of my self all the time.

    also a word to the wise,

    best thing you can do when setting up your personal welder, is have a sharpie near by. you need to sit down at your bench for about an hour and weld up different thicknesses of material and adjust settings accordingly. when you find the sweet spot your machine and you are comfortable at, write the material thickness and the settings onto the top of the welder. you have now made yourself a cheat sheet.... it really does help speed up set up and overall work times because your not dicking with the settings every 15 seconds.
