    prob not lol

Maybe if you get a mapp gas/oxy torch up from depot? Interwebs says its almost as hot as acetylene. Just not good for welding steel

You could score it with a thin cutoff wheel on your grinder. Just leave enough metal on one side to bend it in a vise. Then once you have the bend done you can weld it up.

I lost track thousands of dollars ago.
It's a lot better then doing it by hand that's for sure. I use a angle locator to repeat bends and it works just about every time. Sure I want a full size CNC press brake but it's not in the budget at the moment :(

To show you the speed I bent all of these in a about 1.5 hours. That's 104 bends so it's pretty quick

The answer is that it depends on what you're going to use it for. For it's intended purpose, it would be fine.

Here is a few projects I have done in the last month or so. The bench is out of 1x2x.065 tubing and the "R" is out of SS. The other cutouts I did with my plasma and they are out of SS as well. The sun is heat colored with a torch.

Just now saw the reply, thanks Jerry.
I use the angle finder on mine as well, it does OK most of the time but sometimes you just need that touch to get it just right. lol
I'm thinking a air hydro is in the future for my press. The seal is beginning to leak around the piston on the handle on my manual bottle jack, so when its shot I'll upgrade. I'm dying for a 4-5ft press as well, but they are just too expensive to buy one right now. :(

Me and a buddy had to stand on this one to get it to bend lol we also angled the bolts a little to get it to snug down
