So... I'm in the middle of what I hope will be a pretty fun build... and I've been amassing and attaching parts from various suppliers - bumper, winch, battery tray, suspension bits, etc etc, and one thing that strikes me is how the hardware that comes with these parts is always imperial! IT'S A JAPANESE TRUCK, FOLKS! IT HAS METRIC FASTENERS!!! At first i was starting to replace the hardware so i would not have to carry two sets of tools, but i have given up, so uniform is the use of SAE in aftermarket parts. Even on products specifically for Toyotas! Ugh!

Reminds me of my 1967 MGB that had Metric, SAE, and Whitworth.

Even some American vehicles have metric fasteners, these days. C'mon...

It is really annying, I know at work we have been going to metric for just about everything we do unless a bought component is made for SAE. It drives me bonkers that a lot of these parts are custom made and still use SAE fasteners or threads.
