They were on my short list but my current budget pushed me into the Patagonia. Otherwise I'd have been all over the X-AT.

These are on my short list as well. They are pretty heavy, so I will probably end up with something else.

It's that tough "mud-terrain style" 3ply sidewall and deep tread. :mudding:

I’ve had Geolandar AT2 back in 2001 or so and they were great.

These along with Open Country RT and KBro2 are my short list..

Check out the Kenda Klever R/T as well. Same class of hybrid 3ply sidewall tire. My buddy runs them and they do quite well on our trips.

I have these on my Tacoma. 35x12.50r17. Quiet on the road. great off road. tire shop said they were easy to balance. they also have dual side wall designs. Great tires so far.

I also ran the Kenda Klever R/T's. wasn't a huge fan of those. quite heavy

These tires weren't out yet when I had to get new ones. My Yokohama A/T tires are working well enough though.

Ditto. Currently running 33x12.50xr17 Kenda Klever R/T KR601, road noise is not bad, I think the only real drawback is these are a E rated 10ply tire pushing 65psi max. I wish I went with something a little softer but for the most part they run great, have great traction, are snow rated/pre drilled for #15 studs. They’re just a little heavy and very tough.

Nice, I couldn’t find anywhere local that had these, and they were really a late-comer to my decision..

    ended up with 265/70R17 E Toyo R/T

How do they handle on wet surfaces and in the rain? I have the Geolandar MTs but thinking of switching to a less temperamental tire since it rains quite a bit here in FL and have a newborn to keep safe.
