Tacoma is stock and staying that way, Pickup is TBA as of now.
Apparently someone wanted it bad enough because it was sold for the asking price!

Dealer list price for the grill (msrp) is $399. Ask any dealer. When u buy parts from the dealer over the counter do you normally get them at dealer cost? I don't (nor would I expect to). In this case it's clear they are taking advantage to some extent but it's not something outlandish like the homer taco satoshi that sold for like a grand mentioned earlier.

U guys crack me up. Satoshi grills are the same money and no one around here talks smack about them, would be blasphemy lol

Customcargrill mesh looks good. That is what I was saying earlier, is the people "piecing together" these grilles are charging $430+. But hey if people are willing to pay, then there is a market.

Yeah but generally satoshi grilles are high in price, why? because of the labor to make them and a little cash for profit, otherwise why the hell would anyone devote the time? (minus the ones I mentioned earlier that are just pieced together kits so it seems). So I think the idea behind people not knocking them so much is they see it worthwhile to have it done right by someone who has done it before and that way they don't have to spend the time doing it.

Same exact outcome, new grille, just money going to a different place.
Small company / garage made satoshi..

Or money going to a corporation crushing them out of a factiory. Same result. Same price range.

Actually with all the holes in the grill and more airflow going through the front end it does actually increase horse power

So are our 2012+ grills that easy to take apart? Meaning does it come in two pieces like that?

So how hard is it to get it apart? And how complicated to put mesh in?

To take it apart theres just a series of screws to take out and then some clips as well. To help with the clips get a small flathead screwdriver to pry them off.

Only takes a few minutes to get apart.

Much easier than getting apart an OEM 05-11 grill
