Get Rid of That Squeak!

you wanna do this on my truck Jason? lol

 

Basically what I did, but I took the entire rear suspension off the truck and tore down the leaf pack.

Repainted, regreased, re-torqued, and all that jazz.

Dude thanks for this write up. After this past turkey season, I developed a bad squeak, I went through some pretty muddy places and this squeak is wearing on my patience!! I will be doing this soon! Rep to you my friend!

exactly. sounds like Im driving a 67 instead of an 07.

 

Hahaha. I just saw this thread. Mine squeaks from the type of bushings I have and not from the silencer pads. Every once in a while I get under there and take them apart and e grease them. Need to get some greasable bolts for it.

No problem. This lasts for a couple of months but will probably last longer for you unless you go wheel again. Somebody else mentioned putting tire tubes in between and said it last longer than lube so if you want to try that go for it.

 

yah i seen that but it seems like the rubber would wear away quick

 

The sledge hammer in the first pic provides all the badass this thread needs.

 

Haha yeah I didn't use that it was just a joke. Could you imagine if I did use that and I missed the screwdriver and got the fender?
