This morning was driving to the Nissan dealership to look at the Frontiers ($3K rebates) and just before I got there finally told myself I am to old to settle just to save a couple of bucks so I turned around and came home.

Went online with the dealer and worked out the details on a 2012 Crew Cab, V6, Auto, short bed, TRD Sport package, roof rack, Nav with JBL etc, tube steps and towing package.
Truck had more options than I needed but would rather have more than less.

She should be in the driveway before Christmas parked beside my 2002 Ford Crewcab long bed diesel, which is simply to big to drive around as a daily driver in the winter anymore.

Am sure I'll have many questions in the years to come. My first and only Toyota truck was a 1984 4wd stick shortbed. I loved that truck! It would go anywhere and average mid to high 20's for gas mileage.

Don't expect the same gas mileage out of the new one. Congrats on the new truck! Let the mods begin!

I had an f250 and can say that the Tacoma is way easier to get in and out of parking spaces. With my f250 I always had to back in if I wanted any chance of getting back out again. You'll love the car like size. Congrats!
