Hello all, I just bought my 16' Tacoma a few months ago and I want to start getting it out on the beaches in Assateague and Chincoteague Islands over on the eastern shore, and hopefully getting it outfitted for some beginner Overlanding trips with my wife.

I was hoping to get some pointers and where to get started. My first concern is being able to use a Hi Lift jack. It looks like I need some solid jack points to utilize this piece of equipment properly. Does anyone have any suggestions on Sliders or other aftermarket jackpoints for the sides of the truck?

Thank you for all your help!

I have been VERY happy with my BAMF bolt-on sliders. A little bit of a wait for them to be built at times but well worth it.

@NotRed thanks for the response, that is a bit of a wait, but those sliders do look legit.

Most companies seem to have about a 2 month lead time for sliders. I'm waiting for mine as we speak. :annoyed:

    Working on it.
Since you frequent the eastern shore you could check out Mobtown Offroad. They are in Greensboro MD and they make some extremely heavy duty sliders.
