Getting to the Aftermarket switch place holder in the lower dash

2.5" Level Kit, Fuel Off-Road Black Hostage Wheels, 17" Nitto Terra Grapplers

I have installed led tape under my truck and now have everything wired except a switch. I cannot find any instructions on how to get to the space toyota has kindly proved in the 2011 tacomas for installing an after market accessory switch. This space is located under the HVAC Panel between the Left Cigarette lighter and the AUX auido plug. Can anyone help me, all I can find is instructions for replacing the radio.
