Nice M1, my next one will be Socom II in urban Camo :)

Good Combo of Toys BTW. My other rides are 05 999 BiPosto, 05 CBR600RR Black Tribal, Accord Coupe, Civic Sedan, Datsun pickup.

How much you get the M1 for if you don't mind me asking.

    I got the M1A for $1300 O.T.D.

I have a few other goodies as well like MV Agusta, other ducatis, and a 67 convertible firebird as well as other odds and ends.

If you're a 1911 shooter, go with the Kimber if you want a 1911, or if you want a little more capacity, go with the M&P series. I have Kimbers (My favorite is a TLE II) and the M&P points exactly the same, but with a 17+1 stack of 9mm in it. I also have a .45 in the M&P and love it just as much. That said... you can't go wrong with the GLOCK. I used to daily carry a G23, but it currently resides in my safe. It's had thousands of rounds through it, and it's quite salty, but still one of my favorites.

Do you conceal carry with that tactical light attached?
I have a hard enough time with just my G27 inside the waist, that being said though I have it on me 24/7 unless I'm at the bar!!!

i looked at M&P's 45 a few months ago when i bought my G21SF, i own alot of glocks and thought i'd try something different, that is untill i saw that in the standard grip the M&P only holds 10 rounds, so back to glock i went....AGAIN

You'd think S&W's M&P Military and Police would offer High Cap mags, due to its name...
I am waiting for the Sig P224 SAS, check it out... They have a sweepstake for a free one going on their site, drawing ends 03/31.
Probably the only way I'll get one till I take care of my lift, and armor, and tires, and alarm, and tunes, and it never ends....

    Yea, my M&P 9mm has 17+1 The Glock 17 is also 17+1,

and the Glock 21 (.45 ACP) holds 13+1 in a much fatter package than the M&P .45.

I feel the M&P line is a little more refined than the Glock, but it's really the difference in being beat with a gold plated shovel, and one from Home Depot.

The .45 stays at home these days, and I am carrying the VTAC 9mm :)

I am considering a .308 for Home Defense though....

My M&P holds 10+1 .40 because its a compact model. You can get standard magazines and grip extenders.

There are others, I just dont have the time to look right now.

Yeah even a .308 carbine is a little heavy for interior home defense, but great if they are sitll in your yard, or your neighbors yard, or your neighbors, neighbors, neighbors yard...

Cool video and nice round, definitely beats ball... However...
15" of ballistic gelatine is definitely over penetration if your family is sleeping behind a sheet rock wall on the other side of the zombie.
Don't get me wrong, I want a DSA SA58 FAL para tactical carbine pretty badly, I'm just saying when I hear a bump in the night inside my house I clear it with a handgun.
    :duel:

At the end of day though, were the ones with the guns!!! Thanks for the info on those rounds...

Glocks are amazing. I have the Glock 21. It is so oo accurate it is crazy. We shoot it compared to my two friends Kimber. Much more accurate and no stove piping. Glocks are made for combat!! Cant beat the clip size. 13 rounds of .45 will do damage! Thats the standard too or you could go the extended clip with 28 rounds of love.
