Gluing down a bed mat?

I picked up a bed mat last week and I'm thinking about gluing it down. Has anyone done this? What would be the best adhesive to use?

My thought process behind this is theft protection. It would be pretty easy for someone to steal it if it isn't secured to the bed.

 

Better off just bolting it to the bed.

I would much rather risk having someone steal my $100 bed mat vs having to worry about ripping that thing up (which you may have to do in the future).

Glue plus bed = not a good idea.

Never came across this little mod before....pretty cool and simple haha. I've had mine in my bed since 2008 and never had any issues with it trying to fly out. Theft would be something that could happen though if your always parked outside.

 

Go with a hex head cap bolt, even more secure.

 

Or if you have enough shit it your bed they won't bother stealing it.

If somebody steals mine, they can have it. I use a stall mat from Tractor Supply with pieces cut out for the wheel wells. 3/4" solid rubber and probably weighs 80lbs.
