I as well as many other vendors that I've talked to in the past couple of weeks have watched the Situation go down with one of largest competitors in our industry. My first instinct and advice to others is to stay clear of it, don't associate our selves with it and just keep doing you.

I've met the owners of that company and I can't say a negative word about them from our limited encounters. I really don't want to comment on what or how they got to where they are. But seeing and reading as well as taking phone calls from many of their burnt or upset customers, I felt compelled to do something even if it's very little.

I've personally been apart of the Toyota Community, starting with Tacoma's since 1998. Starting off on the old Off-road.com forum and later with TTORA then spreading to all the other outlets and forums. I made the transition from enthusiast to enthusiast aftermarket parts builder in 2001.

I have many friends I've gained over the years from this group of people. And the word Community comes to mind a lot. It's a community of like mind individuals that share a common passion for their vehicles. I've watched groups and clubs grow, shrink, change hands and in the worst times come together. Reading through some of the comments and seeing there is a significant number of people that have been hurt by this recent low point in the Toyota community.

I was trying to think if there was anything we could do to help. To help those that were hurt by this. And while I don't currently own a time machine or a magic eraser to fix what's already happened I do own an off road shop and can maybe offer a little help for those that were effected. I'm not doing this for a pat on the back or trying to take advantage of people that were already hurt. I'm just doing what little I can to "maybe" help.

Any customers of Pelfrey that have a paid invoice (even partially paid) yes (even refunded) that were burnt in this down fall. We would like to offer you a 30% off a DeMello Off-Road purchase of equal or similar product.

We know spending more money may not be at the top of your priority list right now but for those that still want and need product we wanted to offer some sort of solution for your troubles.

In light of recent events. We will not be taking any money on your orders till they are actually in process. Meaning you can call place your order today and provide us with proof of your purchase with them. Once we start your product or even get it ready for shipping when requested we will charge you and not before that.

Lead times will be considerable and updated to the best of our knowledge when the order is placed. We have to take care of our current customers that have already placed orders first as we have long lead times as well. But your new order will fall in line like anyone else.

Please call or e-mail any orders in to 951-735-4417 or e-mail Jason@demello-offroad.com

Feel free to share with others

You rock! I have not been effected by this situation but applaud your gesture. I own your sliders and look forward to purchasing your bumpers at some point. This post just confirms my perception that Demello Off Road is a stand up operation.

Great to see Demello give back to the Toyota community with this awesome generosity. Just recently got my Demello front bumper and I’m wowed by the excellent product and even more happy with the outstanding service they provide. Definitely earned a lifetime customer

YES. I wasn't affected by the recent situation but had been planning to order in about a month or so from them so I'm kind of glad I kept putting it on the back burner. I was hoping to have matching front/rear bumpers and you guys are just about an hour's drive for me. Really looking forward to seeing the rear bumpers for the 05-15! High clearance please! Might be placing an order for the front bumper before the end of this year!
