we stayed at riviaya maya(spelt wrong??)1/2 hour away. we drove through cancun to do snorkeling and riding quads on the beach.stop at "the xcaret" rain forest/zoo. you can snorkel anywhere in the park through underground caves and climb up stairs to see the animals.you just jump back in the water and swim away to the next stairs to see more shit. they warned us about taxi drivers trying to double charge you and take advantage of you,so we didnt stop in cancun for any day trips. didnt feel like going to jail in mexico for killing a dirtbag taxi driver

no rep needed, but thanks anyway

sometimes if you let the flight crew know
that you are on the honeymoon, they sometimes
break out with some free drinks/cocktails

man all inclusives are the shit! my friends parents bought him and a friend (me) a trip there for his 18th (legal age in alberta and mexico). if it really is all inclusive there should be travel provided at the airport. we had a bus take us and others to our resort. we stayed at the Bahia Principe Coba. the cool thing is there is 2 other resorts on the same big plot of land, Bahia Principe Akumal and Bahia Principe Tulum. beaches and pools are always nice and everything is free. drinks anytime and all the time, food whenever you want etc.

on our resort there was a shopping center and a night club, live entertainment, shuttles around the resort, anything you could ask for!

but i DEFINATELY reccomend taking a look at the trips. there all about 100-150 dollars u.s.

we went on a quading trip and learned a bunch about the jungle from out guide, we did the Xel-Ha trip, there is everything there, snorelking, kayaking(kinda lame), dolphin show (you can swim with them too) and tonnes more! http://www.xelha.com/
We also did a tour of the ancient side of the mayan culture at the chitzen itza ruins. there is a lot to learn and its really interesting.

    Couple tips..
Bring lots of dollar bills for tips.
    Good sun block
Sumbraro or big hat is a must
    Sun Glasses are a must
If your going snorkeling BUY AN UNDERWATER CAMERA i regret this like mad cuz the fish and sights underwater are awesome. kodak makes an underwater disposable if you already have a good camera
    swimming gear
    Batteries and chargers.

thats it for now if i think of anything ill post it up. ill add a few pics in a second too.
