    Me?
From stock I went with the OME lift kit. That can be found on toytechs website as well. That gives a 3" lift but is not adjustable. However, is it cheaper.

I recently sold that and now have Fox adjustable coilovers in the front. Keep in mind that if you want to lift the front 3" you should also purchase an aftermarket set of upper control arms to fix alignment issues. These range from about 400-1000 new. The $400 ones work just fine if your not intending to do much offroading.

Then in the rear I still have my OME rear shocks. I plan to get Fox's soon. Then I have a u-bolt flip kit with Timbren bumpstops and the 3" All Pro leaf pack.

I say get the 5100's shocks. All 4. Set the front to 2.5". Then buy the Light Racing UCA's. After you have that, you can decide if you want to put an aal in. Because it will sit pretty close to level.

They replace your stock UCA's so you can get your alignment back in spec. The, if you choose to upgrade to coilovers later you will already have uca's.

    $380 for all 4 shocks. And $550 for UCA's.

Or you can go this route. Buy 1.6" leveling springs for the front with new shocks. A lot cheaper but less left.

The rear shocks DO NOT provide lift. Only the fronts. You would set the front at 2.5" and the rear would not get any lift. It would sit about level. maybe the front a LITTLE higher. So If you want to lift the back you buy the aal and those are 80 for both. Then the back would sit a little higher.

You dont have to buy ucas with a 2.5" lift. But you might not get your alignment perfect and your tires can wear faster on the insides. Lots of people run 2.5" of lift up front with no ucas. But a lot have it in mind to get them in the future.

You cannot get 4 inches of lift on a 4x4 for under $1000

That just means that if you lift the rear 0-3" these shocks will work.

No problem. Just keep in mind that with the OME lift you will want the new uca's as well. I love my ome setup when I was running it. But I had total chaos uca's as well.

Just to Piggy back on this discussion, as I'm new to lifting as well. If the rears provide no lift, then why pay for them. Could I just get 5100's in the front a leave stock TRD sports in rear(and possibly AAL)? If that is possible, what negatives comes with that? I will not be doing any offroading, I am what you guys consider a mall crawler, Ibelieve!

The reason most get matching rear shocks, is the dampening rates will match the front. The OEM shocks are small. The 5100's are a good upgrade in durability, and ride.

So my ride quality will suffer if I just add on the Front?
