    I have a 1987 Toyota 4x4 that I was thinking about installing an electric fan. Has anybody installed one and what was the results. Thanks.

    I'm not familiar with the early models. The 2005+ models have a clutch on the fans, so you would not be gain much by upgrading. Also, I like the reliability that comes with OEM parts. PB2themax swapped out his and is happy, but I'm not sure if it was worth the effort. I've seen others that say it wasn't worth the effort as well.

    electric might be quieter.
