Figured I would turn to the gurus here to help me set up my son's '01 PreRunner (standard cab) with a decent speaker/amp system.

The stock stereo is still in place. He has two 12" that he's wanting to build a box for. What is a good, conservatively priced amp to juice those 12's? Is the stock stereo sufficient?

Also, if you have a drawing or dimensions for a speaker box, let me know. It will save me some time squeezing behind the seat.

yeah ^ he is right it all depends on the speaker. And the stock radio can only do so much i mean it will sound decient but changing out the head unit would make a night and day differnts
