Hi, all. I'm in the market for a 2017 Tacoma TRD Off Road, double-cab with moon-roof & seat warmers (total MSRP: $40,068). A dealer just made me this offer for one: $39,985 out the door, taxes and fees included (sales tax where I live is 8.8%). It also has the Premium & Technology Package w/ JBL stereo, and V6 tow package. Is this a good deal? Thanks for your feedback!

I paid $36,579 for almost the same truck. DCSB TRD off road with Tech and JBL. Sticker was $40,330. Had tube steps and door sill protectors. This is before taxes and fees. You might get a better response if you tell the price before fees since they vary from region to region.

my TRDOR SB was 34000 (maybe 34,500?) without tech package.
MSRP was 37,XXX. So, it seems if tech package brings it up by 3K to 40,000, then 37,xxx out the door seems to be a fair price for tech package ? So, then, whatever the tax in your area is, your price seems pretty spot on fair, if not good. Not a steal, but pretty good.

They can sell it to you for invoice. The incentives and rebates the dealer will receive plus their vehicle prep is where they make most of their bucks. If they're picking up the sales tax, that's a major perk for you. I would think that if you get the truck for or around invoice the tax issue will be deleted. Good Luck!

When I bought mine I was told by the dealer that NO dealer excepts any offer under MSRP.... I then asked for a Military Discount ( Combat Veteran -Iraq) and was told only active duty receive the discount of $500.

Not on a Tacoma. I'm not saying the dealer is not receiving incentives or rebates from Toyota, but I don't see why they would considering the amount of Tacoma's being sold.

I think it depends on the region and dealer's contract. My dealer was $250 below invoice in October and I think I've seen a post from someone this month about $700 below invoice.
