Not sure what TSB you need done. I had the transmission TSB for the 2010 done at Star Toyota down in League City. They did the work with no issues ONLY after I told them about the TSB. My next step is to have the rear spring TSB done. That's the only experience with any Toyota dealers I have had in the area. I wouldn't rate it as great, but they are not horrible as you described Ron Carter in Alvin.

I bought my 05 preowned AC at RC in Alvin. If the preowned certification inspection is any indication, they suck. If the fact that I pointed out the rear main seal leak & they blew it off as sloppy oil change even tho it had not been changed there is any indication, they suck. If the fact that I pointed out seeping rr axle seals & they blew it off as normal, they suck. No TSB even because the truck already had 48k on it even tho we bought a 30 somethin k RAV4 there months earlier is any indication, they suck. Wasn't really impressed with Star. The one in TX City sucked. Champion by Almeda Mall seemed the best but didn't use them for warranty or service issues. Used that one for 20 yrs under different names for parts tho.

Had my warranty issues done at Don McGill in Katy since that's where I moved. They wanted to try to suck too but couldn't weasle out of the 7yr/100k drivetrain warranty so they did the work & it was OK.

Don't know of any "good" much less what I'd call great ones.....subbin for that, lol.

I went to Mike Calvert Toyota and they did my TSB no questions asked. Just make sure you have the TSB printed out and in hand. They were hesitant about it until I handed them the TSB and after the service manager read it, he ordered the parts for me.

"Can" is the key word, but they don't. When I first brought up the transmission TSB, Star Toyota referred me to the Toyota Customer Service 1800# for the TSB. They didn't even attempt to verify the TSB. The 1800# representative more or less called the dealership lazy when I told her that.

Anyone BUT Joe Meyers. I ended up shopping around and the place that treated me the best was Fred Haas Toyota World up on 45 on the North side. Consequently, that's where I bought my Tacoma last month.

Fred Haas's service department already has taken care of several small issues for me with no problems.

DUDE I must say i went to Fred Haas on 249 and Spring Cypress. i bought a 2010 access cab tacoma and had such a great experience there. they were helpful and knowledgable and they really worked hard to get me what i wanted and the price i wanted to pay. PLUS i only paid 6.25 % in tax, not the normal 8.25%

Good people @ www.championtoyotagulffreeway.com/Default.aspx . It's where I bought my truck and make the drive there for regular maintainence. I took it and told them the rear sagged extra low and made noise when I had a load. I mentioned nothing about the TSB, but I knew of it. They swapped it out with the quickness and then was told about the leaf TSB by them directly.
