    Hey Guys,

I didn't know where to put this post so please move it if necessary. I have a 2006 Taco and I was wondering if anyone knew of a good mechanic in the Phoenix area. There is nothing wrong with my truck ATM but I am sick of taking my truck to the dealer for oil changes and stuff because every time I go they always try to hit me up for worthless shit instead of taking care of my truck. I would like a place where other Taco owners trust so I know I am in good hands when I take my truck there. Thanks in advance for the help.

A lot of peeps in the az crew work on the trucks themselves. I'm sure people would be more than willing to help out, but some others might have some rep shops to let you know of. We do have an Arizona section too in the main forum list, check it out

Wil at Sierra Expeditions in Tempe does great work and they are cheap. Its a small business that used to only sell after market parts but now they have a little shop to work on the trucks. THey did great work anytime I deal with them. Let them know Alex Maes sent ya and they will take care of you. Oh by the way Wil is the owner.

I've had good experience with kelly clark. Haven't taken the taco to them, it still goes to the dealer.

But they have done some work on my '71 caddy and my girlfriends car.

I usually just take a car there for a diagnosis ($60) then fix whatever is broken myself

I just brought my truck there for the 90,000 mile service. It was just a little over $200 OTD.

Depends on what part of the valley you are in. I've always trusted a guy named Scott at Sun Devil Auto, 67th ave. and Bell Rd. He's worked on my Cj-7 as well as my wife's Volvo. 623-878-7898.
