whats the stock pressure plate rating for a 4x4 v6 tacoma? mine with a supercharger is not quite enough for my offroading extravaganzas..

i burned the first one up within a month of buying the truck used.. now im on a new one and have smoked it out a few times offroading, especially on the sand.. i dont expect to get a whole lot of miles out of it.. however heavy duty racing clutches suck for daily driving so im scared to put in something that is too heavy duty...

I have swapped out the clutch on a couple of Tacoma trucks. If you have a lift and air tools it can be done inside of 1.5 hours. On the ground with a floor jack and hand tools? Figure about 4 hours give or take a little.

I'm getting ready to replace a non-OEM flywheel with an OEM flywheel to solve my starter grinding problem (it is the flywheel, I've tested several starters with the same results). I figure on replacing the bolts and the pilot bearing as well as whatever is listed as a consumable in the FSM. Are there any gotchyas that would be good to know?

Planning on two days to do the work and the clutch was just replaced 25k miles ago.

So I have a 32 pound LCE engineering clutch, I didn't install it one of the previous owner did it has been great to me for the 3 months I've owned it until yesterday all of a sudden it started slipping when I went over 3000 rpms no idea what's wrong is there a way I could look at the pressure plates without dropping the whole tranny. Any help or ideas greatly appreciated.
