Good price on M8000??

    Mine came with a bracket like the one below but I'm going to fab up my own bracket so I can mount the solenoid under the hood like on the FJ pictured below.

    @ruler - not sure what you mean.

    Obviously you can't just attach the winch to a stock taco. Most guys will run a hardcore replacement bumper that has a winch mount point.

    The alternative is mounting a receiver, like in my sig.

    I bought the Warn receiver mount kit because it's simple and reliable and sturdy and comes with everything you need.

    But if you're handy you can piece or fab together everything you need.

    I mounted mine under the hood kind of like that fj. I took the bracket it came with and bent it and cut it in two then I added 4 or 5 inches to make the box sit up taller. Here is a picture of where mine is located.

    I went ahead and mounted mine to the winch and cut my grill, but I like the look of the big 8274 Warn so having that stuff up front looks cool to me.
