Oh man... There are so many places...

What type of food? Any budget in mind? You looking for upscale or something more hole-in-the-wall? You looking for good cocktails/drinks too? What parts of town you trying to explore? I could give all sorts of suggestions for downtown Phoenix, but know the entire valley pretty well.

    Awesome! I appreciate the info.

We go out to dinner pretty often but we dont get out to the phoenix/scottsdale area as often as we would like. We typically stay within the east valley, so I'm familiar with this area but not opposed to staying here if we find something good. We went to bourbon and bones for my bday, so something on par with that would be awesome. I'm thinking about going out to wild horse past and eating at kai and just spending the night there. But not fully convinced on it.

But if you've got other suggestions, I'm absolutely open to it. Even starting dinner somewhere and going somewhere else for more drinks. Thanks again!!

Bobby Q’s on 17 & Northern. It’s a smoke house, but a nice one. You could wear a suit and fit in, or jeans an fit in. It used to be my go to nice meal in Phx.

If you’re gonna ball out, Mastros in Scottsdale.

Who wears a suit to eat BBQ? Do you Rob? Thats baller. Hahaha

Personally, if you arnt wearing a suit, get Little Miss BBQ - Bobby Q aint got nothing on Little Miss and they just opened a new location in uptown. If you looking for a good date place and something different, my first suggestion would be Rokerji - the Carne Adovada and Pasta Heidi are sooo good.

Other things to add to your to-do list for Phoenix (various pricing)...
    Welcome Diner
    Otro
    Breadfruit/Rum Bar
    Steak 44
    Ladera
    Nelson's / Wandering Tortise
    Barrio Cafe
    La Santisima
    St Francis
    Tratto
    Durants

    Done.

Lots of really cool places. I've been/heard of some of these places. La santisima is awesome! Wen there once. I've been wanting to go back and just steal a bunch of salsa.

We went to the place next to tratto, cant remember the name of it. But I remember thinking we should have gone to tratto. I've heard really good things about that place. Thanks again for the suggestions!!

hahah I’ve seen it all there man.

LMB is hands down the best bbq in the state. I just thought he wanted something fancier.

TacoGuild is good too, is a hipster taco place, but a cool building and the fancy tacos are good.

I think one of my favorite places that we've gone to in az is nobuo. Food was awesome. Cocktails were dangerous, in a good way. Chef came out and spoke to us for a good bit. A really cool overall dining experience.

This dry January has me craving a beer and now all I can think about is eating. God I need a fuckin drink.

Jalapeño Bucks is probably the most overrated bbq joint in the east valley. Not that it’s horrible, but it definitely isn’t delicious.

Slap yourself for even suggesting it.

Have you guys tried haps bbqs on Washington off the 143. I've always thought this was pretty good.
