Good shops around Wesley Chapel/Tampa?

Inherited a 03 Double Cab Prerunner with a supercharger. Hasn’t gotten a good checkup or maintenance in awhile. Any recommends would be helpful! There’s some engine clunking when pressing full throttle.

 

Well first off and this may hurt a little, a supercharged tacoma requires premium fuel, that clunking your hearing may be pinging, you failed to mention wether v6 or 4 cylinder or factory installed SC or previous owner installed. First thing to do is research the supercharged thread in the 1st gen section i believe its over a hundred pages in length and full of information about supercharged tacomas. The only shop i have heard good things about is Toy House, they are Toyota people however the down side is they are very busy and two to three weeks backlogged with work, good luck

 

It’s the 3.4L V6 always running on shell V-power 91. It’s been like that for awhile, only doing the clunking when pressing full throttle. It was previous owner installed 2nd gen TRD supercharger and it was rebuilt once, might need to be checked out since I think it hasn’t been checked in awhile.

 

Another vote for Toy House. They seem to know their stuff.
