Its actually better to meet the guy face to face. It lets him know you dont think your time is too valuable to not meet the man.

I've met several dads face to face. Its never been a problem. Plus i'm taller, in the military, and shoot competitively. It kinda evens out.

Plus, if I generally give them that *Look*, like "i will fucking tear your jaw off and beat you to death with it, if you mention that you'll be cleaning your shitty guns on the deck tonight", that works good too.
