Personally I'd recommend the BFG All Terrain KO's. They do pretty well in the snow (I'm Canadian and where I live we have snow 6 months of the year) and road noise on the highway isn't too bad and is easily drowned out by my stock non jbl stereo.

OP, is this thing daily driven?

KM2s are proven to give good treadwear on pavement for mudders...about 40k. Kevlar's rock offroad...very good traction...but everything I've seen of them leads me to believe they chunk quickly and will wear faster than KM2s.

In the end...if it's a DD truck, I'd get the KM2s. If you just pull it out now and again, MTRs.

Depends how it's defined. I would argue since last sept 25% of my time in my truck has been offroad. But nowhere near 25% of the miles. But that's because you can spend 4 hours covering a mile. Or less. Depending on how many rocks you need to winch out of the way.

So I guess what we need to know is...what's the split in mileage.

Regardless, I stand by my previous statement.

Besides...this is TW. We vote for what we have with absolutely no knowledge or use of the other product. Because.

after 14k miles they were racing slicks(might becuase i only rotated them twise). and i had to many things puncture them for me to think of them as a decent off road tire.

and they had really bad caster wear even with constant alignments

Just to clear things up guys I was refering to time in vehicle not miles with the 75/25 split. Sorry should have been more precise at the begining of the thread.

I know Goodyear MTR's are really good although you dont get a lot of miles out of them. I need tires that are going to last a long time. I had mtr's on my jeep a few years ago and only got about 20k out of them and they cupped really bad.
