Been watching these tire prices at wally world last couple years. Prices drop around holidays too, not just fall. Just keep watching if you have tread to spare. That's what I will be doing.

Hands down one of the best ongoing reviews I have ever read over the life of any product. Thank you for taking the time to do this.

Would you say these tires were louder then your normal aggressive mud tire? Am very interested in purchasing these tires but the only thing that concerns me is the road noise.

They are definitely more quiet than your everyday M/T, they are even more quiet than Duratracs.

Finally making my mind up and pulling the trigger on these tomorrow. Walmart dropped the price back down to $158 and I'm in desperate need of tires.

Finally got them. Didn't really want Walmart to mount them because the techs didn't look like they really enjoyed their job. I decided to just let them do it because I didn't feel like taking them somewhere else.

They did a pretty good job I think. Other than the air pressure around 45 lbs in each tire. They seem to be balanced well.

I'm really excited for them. This is the first brand new set of tires I've ever had on any vehicle. They look way more aggressive and cool looking in person. Totally changed the look of my truck. The road noise isn't terrible. In fact it's just the right amount. I like a little road noise.

I have a question. What is the best tire pressure to run these at? Mine are still over inflated and I haven't had time to play with tire pressures

I usually ran the rears 2 PSI less than the front, typically 34/32 or 32/30.

Find an empty parking lot and do the chalk test. Lots of threads here on how to do it.

I work at wally world and unfortunately a lot of techs are not up to par but there are few scattered about that are good the best thing to do is talk with them ask them some questions like what the torque is on the lug nuts on your vehicle etc. Watch how they work on other cars, notice if other techs who they ask for help, or listen to, sometime give indication of a lead tech or someone with experience, the colored coded weights should be orange or you can use tape weights 2.5 or 1/2 oz weights and yes the machines are able to do aftermarket rims, the machines also have safety shields to protect your rims, they come with a plastic duck head also. not all walmart shops are created equal but walmart is working on that. They have placed ACC MGR that focus on automotives only witch will increase the quality of service. The wrangler authority's are a great tire. No matter how you want to look at it has goodyear stamped on them with there reputation on the line they are still good tires and safe to be on the road. Most tire fails are due to tires being low on air pressure in the summer tires o er heat damage is done the structure of any tire has been comprimised it may not fail right then but will eventually its inevitable it starts to deteriorate from within the layers till one day it fails. In my area you can order through ATD at walmart other brand tires like, hankook, firestone, generals, and many more, usually only takes one day to get. You should be careful anywhere you go to get service, quality techs are harder to find anywhere. Sorry for the long spill.

update, I am currently fighting some balancing issues. I have a hair over 5/32'' tread left and traction is still stellar! 31k put on while my work truck was wearing the fronts- now on my tacoma and 38k on them by the tacoma.
