what are you talkin about expensive??? i looked up many other different brands and they all seem to go for around the same price... the fierce attitudes are like 5 dallors cheaper

and if you mean expensive.. like they always say "you get what you pay for" and after all the great reviews all season on these that doesnt seem like a bad price at all

    None yet.
Any trouble with rubbing on suspension parts? I'm considering 285/75/16 on KMC's with 0 offset and 4.5 backspace. Doing the whole OME lift and LR uca's just don't want to rub the tires on the UCA. Let me know what you think.

I'm an assistant manager at a Discount Tire store in San Diego, and I've decided that this tire is hands down the best option for any Tacoma driver that wants an aggressive tread pattern but primarily does highway driving.

Best all around tire I have had on a truck. Quiet on the highway, not a huge decrease in gas mileage from the stock size and they look good. Can't say enough about how much I like these tires. Mine are 285/75/16

My first set lasted for 52K miles. They still had some tread left and I sold all four for $75. I loved them, they were great in all weather conditions, so I bought another set.
My first set barely had any road noise when new and increased slightly as they wore. The new set is loud as hell! At 70 mph I damn near have to turn the radio to max to hear it.
What has happened??? They look exactly as the ones I bought in 2009 but they have changed something. My first set was whitewall out and I had the new set mounted black wall out, that's my only difference than before. Anyone else experience this?

I'm about to order some Duratracs for my 2001 Tacoma. I'm almost sure I want the C-rated LT265/75/R16 (Max Load 2470Lbs). I see there's also an E-rated one, but I'm trying to avoid the weight.

My truck will have a 2 inch OME lift and FN Wheels Five Star 16x8 3.5" BP. It carries a Leer camper shell and will carry a winch up front. Apart from that, I will load stuff into the bed but nothing outrageous like I've seen others do. Towing would be minor.

I'll use it offroad, but not hardcore wheelin' like some of you. Mainly muddy, rocky, rutted and sometimes snowy dirt roads... also lots of pavement and some rain.

I think I answered my own question there - C rating, right?

One more thing. I can't seem to find the weight of these tires stated anywhere. Can anyone point out where to find this info? I'm guessing the C rated tired must be around 45 pounds and the E-rated around 55 pounds. You think this sounds right? Wish Goodyear posted the weights on their site like Falken does. Cooper doesn't either. I did consider the Cooper ST Maxx and the STT Pro, but again, but of those are Load E and I'm trying to keep the weight under 50 pounds if possible.

^^^ Nice. I wish the Load Cs that I want were also available in all black. I'm not a fan of the white lettering.

I'm the opposite. I wanted white letters. The local Goodyears didn't have Load C in stock so I went with Load E 265/75/16 with Spidertrax 1.25" spacer. Still looks killer. 0505161615_HDR.jpg 0506161541_HDR.jpg
