I'll be interested to see the results. My truck came with BFG Rugged Terrain tires and am having issues with balancing with them. If the dealership can't fix 'em, I'm going to have them put the All Terrains on instead. Not sure if they'd give me something that doesn't come from the factory though, so the Wranglers are probably not an option.

Are those wheels lug centric or hub centric? May be your wheels not centered on the hub correctly if they are lug centric...

Not really sure, honestly. Dealership tried road force balancing them yesterday. Between the 4 tires on my truck and 2 new ones off the shelf, 3 of them came back bad. They said the wheels were fine. Not sure if BFG just had a bad run with these tires or they've always been like this. They got decent ratings on Tire Rack, just a few recent complaints like I'm having. Service manager said someone from Toyota flew in a couple weeks ago because it's a known issue with this tire/wheel combo.

I personally like my BFG’s, but I have also heard that sometimes they don’t come all too round out of the factory.

these threads and their responses crack me up....

#1 OP needs to state what kind of driving conditions he is going to be using them for

#2 anyone answering this thread without knowing #1 is guessing at best

#3 picking a tire for a truck because it looks cool is STUPIED

#4 if your unwilling to use the simple search feature for tires that have been reviewed by THOUSANDS of people are you really going to listen to some guy sitting at a computer who might not even own them

If he is picking between 2 off road tires wouldnt one assume he's doing off roading. It's an opinion question and that's what the answers are

I've had 4 sets of BFG ATs over the past several years and have never been disappointed. I don't do a lot of hard core wheeling, so the ATs suit my needs well. I'll purchase a 5th set when my factory Rugged Trails wear out.

love my duratracs... on this December it will be my 3rd year having them on my truck have put like 41,000 miles on them, and that includes, off road(rock crawling) LSD lock siding/drifting etc, burnouts, and daily use, and i still have tread for another year. would recommend them, they look more beefy then the BFE's, they have gone up sense i bought them but they are good tires.

AT's are not "offroad tires" they are all terrain tires. A 'offroad' tire is a MT or bias tire. My Ford Explorer came with AT's and that POS could barely make it up a fire trail.

Also one tire is a snow tire while the other isn't. If you take the facts into consideration I have no clue why anyone would want either A or B. They are two totally different tires with totally different characteristics. If anything OP should be considering 2 similar snow tires since he is in UT IMO. BFG AT's blow in rain and snow.
