They are not just a snow tire, even thought they kick ass in the snow
They were designed as a work truck tire, so good in all conditions.
And they look so good in the sun, sand, mud, etc!!!

Oh. I clicked on the Location tab and they had red dots in a lot of states but nowhere near the northeast. Thanks for the heads up. I'll contact them when it's my turn to buy tires.

I am got 265/70-17. No offense but I am not a huge fan of running the white in...to my demented sense of style it looks weirder than whites out when you pull up next to a truck and see text peeking out from underneath. Of course, YMMV.

Thanks for the info. I always assumed they were the same thing...just the stores didn't have "direct" in their name because, well, it was a store, not direct. ;) I guess I was wrong on that one!

So I'm guessing discounttiredirect is the cheapest place to get these?? I'll probably be picking up a set here in the next few weeks.

Hey Gusher, Did you have problems with rubbing with that tire size? The rims you have are 7.5" right? I'm thinking of getting the same tire but with a 9" rim. What did you need to remove if anything?

Not thinkin I'll be going with these. The only size for my 18s that's close to what I have now = 275/65/18 and those only come in E 10 ply 67 lbs each overkill for a 4 cyl prerunner. :( Don't wanna buy new rims. They do have the silent armor ones in 2 different sizes close to mine but the tread design just isn't all aggressive lookin like on the duratracs or my NTGs. I have the goodyear cc and would like to get the discounts, warranty, etc & be able to make payments. Who knows, maybe I'll go crazy with some 17" rims & the duratracs. Have to see what they got. Interesting thing about the silent armor tires is they come with 50000 mile warranty AND an offroad towing thing they called winch assist or something like that. They say if you get stuck they'll come winch you out. Not sure what I'm doing yet, may just end up with another set of NTGs..........

Tinted windows all around. Fog lights. Intermittent wiper switch. Skid plate. Extra D rings. Grillcraft. Color matched grill. Hella 500ff HID behind grillcraft. Rcbs204 Lighting. 5100's up front. 265/75/16 Duratracs.Firestone riderites. Bora Wheel spacers. Tinted tails. De badged. Blacked out rims.
I got quoted at $239 a tire here in Canada for 265/75/16 6ply. Not expecting to do much better than that here. 10ply was $264

I had the silent armors before the duratracs and they werent very good. not very good offroad and there was no way I got 50k out of them. maybe 30 and they were getting down pretty good
