I had that size in C and at least one tire was out of round, I keep hearing that this is an issue especially with C and that going to 285 and E seems to solve the problem.
After playing with pressure and 4 rebalance I was tired of the duratracs and swapped them out for BFG (E) and they run great.

If my BFG are done I consider going back to Duratracs but in 285 E and give them another try

thanks @Flowin , I have read about the potential out of rounds as well. I may give them a go, discount had good customer service I think, if I have issue, hopefully they will work with me on fixing the issue

I was afraid of this after reading some horror stories about balancing these tires, but I've had no balance issues.

that's where I bought mine, they will take them back but it's not 100% free (but not terrible)

yeah it's hit or miss, they ordered another set in and it still wasn't right, my bed started to bounce at 55mph and when I moved them to the front I got steering wheel shake...it was just my luck I guess lol

Any of those pics of Duratracs on lifted Tacomas? I just bought a '14 TRD (Love it) and want a more aggressive look. But not sure I can put 265/75R16 on without a lift. I know they will fit, but may look too crammed in wheel well. Also like my from mud flaps, but willing to sacrifice those. I guess i could get the duratracs in 265/75R16 but the slight height difference would be good too.

It fits without a lift - no issues

No issues at all on my 11. Stock wheels (or stock backspacing) is the important qualifier.

Just bought my second set. Upgrading from 265/75/16 to 285/75/16...
Didn't have a single complaint, so hopefully they're still just as good.

Just got my 265 75 C load today with their 50k mile tread warranty. My first set of AT tires. Pretty different coming from the stocks, and I love the looks of em. Looking forward to finding some offroad time.

Just now got the Goodyear Wrangler Duratracs in 265/75/16 Load Range C. Getting them put on next week. Hope I didnt make a mistake in size and tire though. I have 285/75/16 on there now. I hope it doesn't look to bad with a smaller tire. I guess ill find out next week.

At first you'll think they're too small. Then after you drive it a few miles, you'll be very happy with them. They'll ride better, the truck will seem to have more power, it'll brake better, and if you off road much, you'll notice it performs very similar. I'm a big fan of the 265/75/16's.

With 265/75/16's my truck hasn't failed yet to do what I ask of it. Granted, I'm not crawling over rocks the size of a Volkswagon bus, nor am I shooting mud holes that would swallow an Abrams tank....But, what I have tried, I've succeeded at. Not sure a bigger tire alone would give me any added advantage. So, in spite of my desire to see what it looks like with bigger rubber, for the time being, I'm 100% pleased with what I have.

    Research in progress...
I'm interested in 265/75/16 Load C Duratracs but Discount Tire told me they come in white lettering only, which I don't really want. In my search on the forums I see Load C tires with no white lettering, are the white letters on the inside? Discount Tire did not mention reversing them. On various tire sites, I only see Load C listed with white letters. Am I missing something?

Yes, the white letters are only on one side so just reverse them. That's what I did. Am a while letter hater too.

1500 miles on them with stock suspension and I'm LOVING them.
