I just bought 265/75/16 load C from 4wheelparts for $159.99 a piece and $50 shipping. I also joined the treadlightly and am getting a $100 rebate off of that.

I only have about 100 mi on them so far, but had to run through big puddles on my way to work today, and was amazed they didnt hydroplane or anything. Went right through.

Oh man, gotta figure out if I want the 265/75/16s with my 3" OME lift... or go with some FJ rims for about 550 and go with the 285/75/16s...

decisions decisions... do the 265s look fine with 3" lifts? I gotta hunt through this thread again and see if there are any pics.

Gotta also take in consideration how much you drive. I have my billies set at 2.5 with 265's and it looks fine. Granted 285s would be sweet, but I drive way too much to take a loss in the pocket on gas.

For all you guys running these tires in 265 load C, what PSI are you running them at?

Hey whatever your beef is I can understand, saving money is better in my book. I went to NTB, Sears, AutoTire, and others and they wanted around $1k for these tires.

The shipping was super quick, I placed the order on Tues morning and had them by Thu at 1pm.

I am running my front tires at 31 PSI. And in my rear tires (without anything in the bed) I am running 26 PSI. If I have a load in the bed I will pump up the rear tires accordingly.

I would like to know about rubbing with the stock (no lift/no TSB) as well. If you have a pic of this setup, it'd be great too.

Try having 18s...they only come in E load and the 275/65/18s (32x11) ran 1200 with road hazard. 260 each.........but got 40 back for using GY cc - 6 mnth same as cash - already paid off & got 100 back from treadlightly.org so ended up being 1060. Running 40 psi on road, have rotated once. Wear, noise & traction nothing short of stellar.

I can go ahead and tell you if you want a quiet ride, DO NOT get these tires. It is not unbearable, but you can definitely hear them. You can always turn the radio up as that is what I do. I have the 265/75/16 with no lift and I do not rub. Not yet anyways!

I dont really notice the noise too much. Makes it sound more a like a truck should be. My father in laws jeep has Mickey Baja Claws on it, now thats road noise. I think you will be just fine.

I have these tires on my truck I do not notice anymore noise than the Revos that they replaced. They fit great no rubbing issues, I think it depends on what wheels you put them on, I have FJ TRD wheels. Any somewhat aggressive tire is going to make some noise buy a car or buy highway tread if you do not expect to use your truck in the manner I intend to use mine. :D

Mine also make a bit of noise as well. I've done a lot of sound deadening in my truck for my stereo (and just to quiet the ride), but they def make more noise than I'd like.

For how they look though, I'll deal with it.

Just bought a set of 285/70/17 from Discount Tire. There were $275 each. Sears had them on sale for $211 and Discount matched the price. Also joined Tread Lightly for the $100 rebate. They had to order them, should be here tomorrow.

Checked several other places localy and they were all around $275.

I checked back today and Discount had lowered their price to $251.
