I'm runnin 40psi in my 275/65/18, 32x11, E load set. Rides like it should as far as body roll, ride quality, noise, wear and mpg. Have just rotated 1st time about 5000 miles and only had the slightest amount off the square shoulders on outside of both fronts from typical steering on pavement stuff, probably mostly from the 8 floors of cement parking garage at work and doing frwy speed ramps at interchanges. Alignment = 0/0/2.8. Rears were still like new. 35 just didn't seem enough, sidewall just barely had pooch & the body roll was just noticeable. Haven't done the chalk thing but it feels like it should with 40.

    I have 21,000 on mine.
Stock tread depth 265/75/R16 load range C is 18/32" according to tirerack.
Just went out and measured mine and they are at 12/32" with 4/32" to go before I hit the wear bars.

Now please keep in mind I do drive aggressive and I do quite a bit of highway travel.
And before anyone asks I keep mine at 40 psi front and rear.

Great tire for off road and winter but I think I will look for something different for the next set.

How often do you rotate them? I was hoping 40k miles would be possible.

I got free rotation every 6000 at the place I got them and I use it. All are worn the same.
I was hoping for 40K too and think it's possible but it just didn't happen for me.
I think if you do mostly around town driving that would help a lot.

I have 265 75 R16's and the tires are great, drove through a heavy downpour and there was no hydroplaning at all. I haven't had them during the winter but after reading all the comments I can't wait to try them out! There is a little more road noise than the Wrangler Silent Armors that I had but I expected that and really it does sound more like a truck should!

Have you done a lot of off roading with these causing the wear?

    No
Couple of trips to a some off road parks. Didn't chunk 'em out on any rocks or anything.
I think the highway travel is the big problem but I am no expert. Driving back and forth to Wyoming 4 or 5 times a year. Along with trips to Colorado, Oklahoma and a few up to KC.

I have the Nittos on my jeep and am very satisfied performance wise, but I am afraid they will not last as long as I want.

Looking at trying the Duratrac on the Taco here soon.

I'm at about 20,000 kms with these and so far so good. As I have mentioned before, noise just isn't an issue for me with them and they are wearing evenly. I've been meaning to snap a pic or two so we can monitor the wear and will soon. The winter performance was fantastic and in storms last year I would intentionally not activate 4WD unless I absolutely had to.I think the key to success with these as well as any others is......

    1. Proper inflation
    2. regular rotation

The look is killer and I get lots of compliments on how cool they are. The sidewall protectors have come in handy as well.

Do the 285/75/16's only come in E rating? Can't seem to find C rating in that size on discount tire.

I just had a set of these installed 265/75/R16 and they look awesome. However, I noticed this last night hat there is a fairly large portion of one of the lugs completely torn off. Only driven like 30 miles on these tires, if that. Hoping Discount Tire will warranty this thing and not use my road hazard. Anyone else have an issue like this? Sorry for the crappy cellphone pic.

I'm runnin 40 psi with 275/65/18s(32x11)....all 18s are "E" load. Got about 10k on them, rotated once & about to again at next oil change pretty soon. Even wear but starting to notice they don't have that brand new super luggy look to the tread like when brand new. At this rate I'll be really lucky to pull 40k out of them. I do 60 mile frwy round trip a day at 70-75mph so that may have something to do with it. We'll see where it goes....noise and performance have been fine.
