What is everyone running as far as air pressure? I'm at 30psi front and 28psi rear in my 31x10.5's and still not seeing even wear on the tread - I have about an inch or so along the outside that doesn't seem to be getting in contact with the road. I've already dropped the psi by about 6 since I had these put on. Got to figure out the optimum pressure before I get too many more miles on!

Oh and I got my TreadLightly rebate yesterday...took about 8 weeks if anyone cares.

I have had my duratracs for over a year now and I noticed that the tires on the rear never fully contact the road(you said about an inch or so along the outside doesn't seem to touch). I have 32psi in front and 26psi in the rear. It seems like I have been getting good treadwear from that psi. I always inflate the rear tires more if I am hauling stuff in the bed. Hope that helps :)

Love my Duratracs. Can't wait for some serious snow to give them a real test.

Best bet is to run it a little lower in the winter to help more in the snow/ice and higher in the summer to maintain longevity. I plan on running prob 34F 32R in the winter and than 38F 36R in the summer.

Wondering why you prefer to run more in the back than the front. As I posted earlier (I think in this thread), it's more common to run more, 3-5psi, in the front because of the added weight of the engine over the axle.

About 16k on mine now and about 2/3 tread left. I roll 60 miles a day round trip on frwy at 70-75mph and have been offroad a mile or so every day on the way home. I worked in a piece of trail, lol. Mine are 32x11 18" E load. Looks like I should be able to pull at least 35-40k out of them. Running 45 psi, wear is even.

In the Toyota Tacoma Owners manual (and inside the door jam) it specifies 29 PSI for the front and 32 PSI in the rear.....so i increased the pressure a bit but kept the same difference....i also just read in another post about the "chalk method" which i may have to give a try and see what that comes up with...

Has anyone done this method before? draw a line of chalk across your tire and drive on it..see how the chalk is waring and adjust pressure until the full line wares evenly...

Same size tire as me, I am only running 30/32 but I did not test anything. What width wheel do you have?
More pressure could help the mpg's

Hello to all of you which know more about this then me which is well all of you. Just got my first Tacoma to use not only around town but to also share duties with my outback when going to the cabin in North Carolina. The big question is would I need something like Duratracs? I mean I sure want them but are they the right tire for me? Getting to the cabin, which we make it up there about 8-10 times a year requires a 600 mile highway drive then the usually appalachian mountain climbs and about 3-5 miles of dirt gravel spongee at times rut filled road. Is this the right tire? I really will appreciate your responses.

...Let me put it this way. The oem tires blow so bad that you could put on drag radials and they would almost work better.
