Got a little hung up

After getting off for a long christmas weekend, I decided to check out a dirt road before I drove off base. Now, it wasn't anything special, but I saw some ruts that suddenley stoped and decided to drive in them. Not at all smart. I don't know what I was thinking, honestly I was pissed about the past week so I didn't care. Anyway next thing I know, I'm sitting on my frame, LCA's, axels, and just about everything else other than my wheels. Here's the pictures.


After deciding I was an idiot for doing that, I got my stock jack out and got to work jacking up each tire all the way, stuffing rocks underneath them to add hieght and traction. It was slow, and the factory jack sucked but it worked! I did however have to use several pieces of wood to stabalize the jack and keep it from sinking.

I'm working on it! I've already ordered my wheels, now I just need to order the lift and tires. And hi-lift, sliders, toolbox, exhaust, black TRD decals, ect...

 

Time for a better jack....and a lift....and some tires.

 

You need an off road jack base

 

I've inquired about some sliders from CBI, should be placing my order soon, they should match up with the hi-lift I plan on picking up as well.

 

dont feel bad I used to do the same thing with my stock taco. now I put a 3" lift and I just stick it in deeper ruts. getting stuck or not not there is just something about the mud! I have never been an offroader before but now I just cant stop it..... I think its the truck. I LOVE MY TACOMA!
