tell me about mazda man, i had an 03 msp, and it had $31000 in warrantied repairs, and its a $20000 car. 3 engines, 4 radiators, 6 radio, 4 subs, thermostat controls, sway bar bushings like 40 times, hoses, LSD, Calipers, it was ridiculous, and mazda corp and stealership made it a nightmare. They tried to make me the bad guy cause i wanted my pos car to work as it was supposed to.

Got mine in the mail today. Old yeller said load capacity reduced by 290 #, new yeller says 4 pounds. What a joke. My Tacoma is a 2009 4x4 V6 Sport auto bought last November.

You guys will love this the stickers are part of a registered recall!!!!
go to http://www-odi.nhtsa.dot.gov/recalls/recallsearch.cfm and enter the case # 09V223000 in the NHTSA Campaign ID number box.

    They say:
    Summary:
[IMG] TOYOTA IS RECALLING 27,080 MODEL YEAR 2009 AND 2010 PASSENGER CARS BUILT FROM JUNE 2, 2008 TO MAY 4, 2009. THESE VEHICLES WERE NOT EQUIPPED WITH LOAD CARRYING CAPACITY MODIFICATION LABELS WHICH FAILS TO CONFORM WITH THE REQUIREMENTS OF FEDERAL MOTOR VEHICLE SAFETY STANDARD NO. 110, "TIRE SELECTION AND RIMS."

    Consequence:
[IMG] INCORRECT LOAD CARRYING CAPACITY MODIFICATION LABELS COULD RESULT IN THE VEHICLE BEING OVERLOADED, INCREASING THE RISK OF A CRASH.

    Remedy:
[IMG] TOYOTA WILL NOTIFY OWNERS AND PROVIDE THEM WITH A NEW, ACCURATE LABEL TO BE INSTALLED OVER THE INACCURATE LABEL FREE OF CHARGE. THE SAFETY RECALL IS EXPECTED TO BEGIN ON OR ABOUT AUGUST 31, 2009. OWNERS MAY CONTACT TOYOTA AT 1-888-270-9371.

May cause the vehicle to be overloaded!!! WTF Its the oposite you morons! They did not know what they were doing. They put stickers on when they did not need to and then they just plain f*ed that up too by puting some way out of line arbitrary weight on the sticker. Now if they said that the stickers were too vague, wrong and causing confusion then they would be right.

In my eyes I think that the Rear TSB is more important of a problem and safty issue then anything else! So anyways it looks like alot of people will be getting new stickers!

Thank you Seal610 for posting the best info on the sticker. And If mine is not over 1.5 percent of GVWR I don't need to have one and there for there WONT be one on my truck.

ok daily rant is done I feel better now.. LOL I love my Taco but just hate incompetence.

    Yeah...I don't get it!

Got one on my door that says 290# and one in the mail that says 49#. I got the TSB pack so I don't much care either way. It's just a bunch of legal bullshit! I guess it's supports our US postal system though!

I am about to leave ALL you guys in the dust. Why you ask? Get a load of this...
I have received 2 stickers, The first about one month ago immediately after the rear TSB. I have a 2009 4 door 4x4 long bed. The first sticker said 45LB or 20KG.
Last Friday I've got one that said 0 LB or 0 KG. The first two where stacked in top of the original one (290LB) Now I have NO sticker, I took the first two off, and the 3rd one I keep in the glove box. Just in case they'll change they're minds.
    take care

Got my "Update to Load Carrying Capacity Modification (Addendum) Label" in the mail today. Toyota just gave me 286 pounds in capacity back! It turns out they were mistaken when they said my load capacity was reduced by 290 pounds, it was only reduced by 4 pounds!! I feel much better. I wonder if the truck will ride stiffer if I put the sticker on :notsure:
