If you don't tend to it immediately, it's the worst thing that can go on your vehicle. I'd take bird crap any day.

Apparently police department does NOT consider Egging as vandalism. It is classified as an incident. It is only vandalism if it causes damage. Since I washed the truck and there is not visible damage then it's not vandalism. Bunch of bull crap!

How about checking on yard sales a wireless baby monitoring system its going to probably cost you like $15? just leave it inside the truck and put the speaker crank up on volume next to your head so when you hear bang it will wake you up. Then :quickdraw::infantry::boom:

There is a couple companies that make an alarm with a camera. Once the alarm is activated and tripped the camera starts recording and can store up to 30 minutes of footage. They're not that bad either, one of my distributors has one for less then $300 for the whole bundle. Might be worth looking into.

I have been researching some surveillance options and I'm considering all options. At the rate they have been going I figure I have about a month until they strike again :)

Oh man..i thought eggs were damaging..but they used stones on your camary???!!
i'd do a old fashion stake out..
I know this was a bad idea..we could've gotten killed..having decided we all have a good background with gun control(Took CCW class) we took the chance..

about 4 months back my co worker had some thieves in their neighborhood..for a 3 weeks straight he got radios stolen out of his cars, first his mini van, then his kids cars..(He doesn't live in the "best" area..Its a place where hearing gun shots during dinner is normal everyday life..)my brother and i felt bad for him since he's not that well off..and decided on busting these bastards..

I know it wasn't smart of us but we set up a bait..leaving a normal single din deck in his mini van around 9pm..my brother and i and my co workers sons waited two hours on both sides of the house..and then we hear multiple sets of footsteps coming..sure enough it was a couple local thugs..or so we thought..

after hearing the car door open, we heard them jump in the van and attempt to remove the stereo. Having radios we sent the signal and ran out armed with a my 12g, my brother with his AR..and two glocks held by our co workers sons..(felt like a police raid) with them at gun point we told them to get out and lay on the ground..
Sadly..after shining a light in their faces while they were on the ground..we identified them to be...our co workers own family members...who live down the street..

You never know..maybe its your roomates doing this to you for not paying rent on time! or not lighting a match after you #2.. all kidding aside..the taco and you dont deserve that kinda treatment..

Sounds like it's stakeout time with a paintball gun. I'd bring a regular firearm with you too, just in case. Be smart, and be safe. Well, safe for yourself.
