had a guy rearend me today and it was at 5 to 10mph tops. i had bull bar step in hitch so it pierced his bumper and and got stuck on my truck.lol then the prick takes off. not to worried about catching him that his plate is on my hitch but i jump back in truck and do a john force una burn out in reverse to go after him. i must have gone 2 blocks at 50 in reverse.did my brakes get over adjusted. i thinking this because it only sounds when im moving and is kind of like grinding but nothings a matter except bumper and hitch. dont know if i bent frame yet. maybe i glazed rotors chaseing prick?. well i got him and they impounded his car and gave 20 tickets. i still dont know if he has insurance. i'll find out when i get report..any suggestions to check for tommorow thanks:D

go out to your truck... make sure your rotors arent hot!!!! touch them slide your hand across them... do they feel like they have grooves in them or are they smootherish?

I didn't realize our trucks can go 50mph backwards!! Wouldn't that be like going 50mph in first gear? Perhaps your tranny is messed up from that?

    What were his 20 violations???

Could be. But can our trucks safely go 50mph backwards considering there isn't another gear for it to shift into?

His truck is making a grinding noise after being rear ended, he reversed for 2 blocks going 50mph.

I say the tranny was a tad overworked. And maybe whining. And possibly shot now. What do you think?

I agree, unless your truck is Tow Mater I dont see it going over 10 in reverse!

Like the others said, check your rotors and try to get pics of them as well as the damage to the truck, we like our pichers around here! :D

You chased him in reverse, that's taking it to a new level, props to you.
