So i was sitting at a stop light waiting for it to turn green when I hear screeching tires. I glance at my rear view mirror only to see a silver charger sliding toward me. Bam! I see the driver shaking her head and I literally put the palm of my hand on my face. (Funny side not, my gf thought I stalled and didn't realize we were hit right away) She pulls over with me and we examine the cars. Passenger side bumper got pushed into the rear panel scratching it but it popped back out a little bit. Her insurance has admitted 100% fault and will be looking @ the truck tomorrow. Apparently her 3 year old son who shouldn't be sitting in the front of the car dropped a toy and mom went to go pick it up and then proceeded to run into me. I am pissed my brand new truck is going to a body shop, I saved a very long time to buy it and now I have a brand new truck that will have a ding on carfax. I am happy no one got hurt, especially her kid. Just needed to vent.

On a side not, anyone know if a color matched bumper costs more or less than a chrome one?

Glad you're OK, and that's a BULLSHIT thing to have happen to a new truck. I feel for you.

    Did you get any pics?

Sorry about your truck. I'm glad you (and the kid) are ok. It amazes me how many people are willing to put their own child's life at risk, just so the kid can have a toy.

Could have been a lot worse, surprised it wasn't actually. Silver blends into the chrome nicely haha.

You can see where the bumper hit the truck and then partially bounced back, good design I suppose.

wont know the full extend of the damage untill the bumber comes off. Most likly the brackets holding the bumber are bent. its an easy fix tho... It didnt scratch the side of the bed tho right.
