Just got some quotes on new tires looking for some ideas if you guys thought they were a good quote. Quotes include everything! P265/75/16 Regular passenger not 10 ply. Plus any thoughts between the three. I live in Charlotte NC we get little snow but ice now and again. I do go to the mountains of NC and volunteer at a Wolf-Dog rescue at 3,880' so in the inter there will be snow and ice and the road is a rutted dirt road so I need a fairly aggressive tire to get up there and to haul stuff around the property. Thanks in advance!

    Firestone Destination AT $700
    Cooper ATR $640
    Toyo Open Country $710

Have I ever mentioned the price difference between 285s and 265s pisses me off to no end?

I just put on yesterday P265/75/16R Firestone Destination AT's for $740 inclusive, so your quote looks good. I did alot of research and loved what I read about these tires. I also love how they look! Let the snow fly!!

I've got the Cooper ATR's and really like them. They're great in the snow but I haven't had them in mud (and we don't have that thick clay up here like you guys do down south). The price you were quoted is about what I paid but I got 265/65R17 so I would think you could do better on 16's. A place up here has them quoted for 134/ea installed ($534 total) plus a few extra dollars/wheel if you have the TPMS sensors since they replace the gaskets in them.
