I removed my rear leaf springs (w/115k miles on them), replacing them with a newer set of OEM springs I got for free (w/ 15k miles on them) and a ICON 3 Leaf AAL. Wish I had the money for a proper set of springs, but the newer OEM springs are going to be way better than my current springs. Nothing was seized! Going to put it all back together tomorrow and then start working on installing my sliders!

This is a great looking truck. The grille, stance, tires, and center caps are awesome. You mounted the TOYOTA a little differently than most. Considered something like this. How do the MTs drive?

Thanks guys, this new rear setup is great.

I started drilling the bottom holes for my sliders today, what a PITA, not looking forward to finishing this.

I also got my LCA skids installed. I had to modify my front skid plate to get the LCA skids to fit.

Drilled the holes for my sliders on the drivers side, and painted the frame, also painted the letters on my BAMF sliders:

    null_zpscbdbd2f7_a1401ce33f7a69e37225af1a3eb246d88076d2d7.jpg

Installed the drivers side today, completely bolted on! Now to finish the passenger side. Used POR-15 spray paint to recoat the frame and prevent rust, stuff went on great and looks great, considering painting the entire frame with this.

Started to test mount my diff skid, what a huge PITA, need to get the mini sledge out tomorrow and wack away, at tight fit was an understatement...

M/Ts Drive good, very loud, but they are great off road, I went up to NJ and did some wheeling two weeks ago, no issues, got into some mud and just burned through it. I like the tires, but may go All Terrain next time to cut down on the noise. But will go for whatever I can find a good deal on, currently not loyal to any brand/type.

I got back to installing the AudioVox backup sensors, had to get a step drill bit to open the holes up a bit more, and then painted the holes with clear coat. Installed the isolator bezels that came with the sensors and started running the wires to the cab. The sensors fit great, and are labeled for location (ie right/left and inside/outside). The cables were long enough (for my DCSB) to get through the boot under the drivers seat with the wires, so the controller is mounted inside. Zip tied all the wires to the frame and out of the way, like I did on the last (crimestopper) version I installed. Tapped power in the cab off the reverse light wire and just connected everything and tossed it under the seat for the time being, it is a mess, but I wanted to make sure it works before I go crazy getting it installed nicely. So far so good! The sensors work, not confident enough to trust them just yet, but they work and they look great; likely no one will ever notice them...

Plan to finish and hide all the wires soon, and then continue to test the sensors and verify that they keep working. I would recommend this kit so far, for $55 it was a great deal, and everything feels well made. I will get some pictures up soon. See Page 3 of my build for more info on the kit and pictures from the manual and such before I installed it.

One caution, be careful with the sensor connectors, the crimp job on them isnt great, I almost pulled one off, not that it cant be fixed, but I didnt want to get out the solder.

EDIT- Another recommendation is to mount these up as high as possible, mine pick up grass and when I back out of my driveway which is angled, it picks up the ground. Otherwise these things are great.

Yeah, I just found a power cable under the shifter cover, and then used a cigarette lighter usb converter and connected the power to the positive to it, and then ran another cable to a ground. Used a ton of electrical tape to hold it all together and then ran the cable through a hole in the center console. I get a little noise feedback when charging and playing music through the radio on my phone, but still worth it.

I got my Hi-Lift today, fits perfectly.

Replaced me serpentine belt, pulleys and tensioner today, took about 3 hrs, only hard part was working around the AC compressor...
