Great Smokey Mountain Trail Ride May 13th -18th

Created this thread to get a list together of who all is actually going. I won't be staying the full week, but me and a friend of mine from work will be there that Thursday the 16th and staying till Sunday morning the 19th.

The cost is $85 for the event registration and be aware that you still have to pay the Wind Rock ORV daily park fee when you arrive as well.

Maybe it’s time to learn something about Offroad, Recovery, Modifications, Camping, SxSs, Dirtbikes, etc from others that have been doing it before you were born.

This is the east coast main event. If you have free time, or want to check out what an Offroad park is about..come on!

Do NOT be intimidated. There are people from all walks of life, and rigs to match.
I have had a blast every year when I have been able to attend.

All my buddies from ACC Garage will be there. Several of my friends you guys would enjoy hanging with, and I will be making some killer grub.

Come on out and see something new!

This is true. I unfortunately get side tracked and this usually happens to me.
I have never been turned away.

Jeff - I got a crew of people rolling up on Thursday morning. We will see you there bro! Trying to figure out which rig I am bringing to the event. Was trying to get these damn brackets made for this Shadow Awning for the trailer, most def will be done for our beach trip in June

@Built2Ride Hopefully the rain holds off for this weekend but i am liking that its gonna be cooling off in the evenings. Me and my buddy will be there Thursday morning as well. We will be coming up i75 from Rome, GA.

I was thinking about bringing my KTM 350xcfw and hitting some of the single track while I am up there.
Last go around my buddy and I brought our ATVs and wish we had our dirtbikes.

 

yeah I wish I had a SxS or ATV I could bring. I'll be sticking to the truck trails this time.

 

Sold my SxS not long ago. Some things are just not meant to be. Mine kept pissing me off every time I went to ride out...it was something. Sold it for 7k to some old Mountain Man, that needed a rig to get to his moonshine still lol

 

I'd probably have a ATV at least if I still lived in northern Georgia, but down here in the low country there just isn't really any off road options or trails. So I pour my money into a boat instead lol.

 

You should come up here one weekend, and we can roll to Highland Park. I got a few we can ride on and a place you can crash. Also, I will be putting together a weekend/overnighter for those who wanna take their quads, SxSs and dirtbikes out.
That’s mainly what I spend my time on during the weekends. I am more than happy to take some new peeps out and show them a good time.

 

what city do you live in? I'll be in Rome, GA all next week for my youngest brothers H/S graduation.
