This morning my dad and sister went to church, he hit a patch of ice. They are both alright, just shook up. The bumper went pprobably 5" into the bank. This picture is after I cleaned all the dirt off, it only pushed the bumper back a bit and pushed my piaa light back. Didn't dent anything or even scrape my paint off.

So guys, got my wheels and tires put on. Painted my bumper gloss black also.

Today I was testing out my tires and tore my stock skids off. Might find replacements or get a real one.

I think I'm going to straighten it out and weld some stuff to it, make it a little bit more stronger

 

Thought it was time to update my build. Couple changes, more to come hopefully this month.


Found some Subie seats on Craigslist, they are out of a wrx. They really grip you and keep you planted. Make a center console out of 1/2" Baltic birch and cut two cup holders out. Slapped in a Sundown SA-8 500rms @4ohms. Hits just as hard as my 12" but hits way more frequencies.

 

What year WRX? also, what all is involved in the seat swap?

 

I'm not to sure on the year, I'm thinking 03 or 05. And all I did was cut the mounts off of the Toyota seats and weld them to the subie seats

So far i've ordered
-oil line kit
-needed gaskets that isn't included with other parts

I could really get the expo part started up but I feel like I wont be able to use it as much, besides its daily driver. Turbo will be way more helpful than a tent. RIGHT?

Believe I'm going in a different direction with my truck now that I have a new purchase, figured I'd get one cause I will use it alot during hunting season and it's nice to get out and ride.

Besides, i like my truck to much to be bashing it and mudding it. So overland style is probably out the door, along with sliders and skids.

18x10 mo970 with 325/60r18 nitto terra grappler. Rubs like a mofo

Getting new tires soon, either 285/65 cooper stt pro
Or 275/70 hercules trail digger mt. Tired of the 325s scrubbing and they're about gone anyway.

When I have new tires ordered I'll be painting the wheels, probably go color match or close to color match on the machined face and a grey on all the black.
