    hello all,
A friend and I are going down to the green mountain national forest for a few days this month, camping and overlanding, does anyone have any suggestions on camp sites, roads or trails to check out or places to visit.
    Thanx

You might do well at Coolidge State Park, I think they are closed so it's first come, first serve, free of charge. No water, no facilities, no wood or ice, pack in/pack out. You are on your own but they are awesome lean-tos for camping. Heart of the Green Mountains. Pretty sure all the Vt State parks are this way after Columbus Day.

I've camped there twice. Those lean tos are awesome. The views are great.

Check out long trail brewery while you're in the area.

If you drive through Coolidge off the back side pine hill rd/Lynds hill rd is worth checking out.

North of long trail there's some off-roading that I can't remember the names of roads, but I'm sure you can figure it out on a map or google maps.
