I had replaced the steering column in my 1998 Tacoma. As a result the airbag warning light now is on. I suspect the airbag may be defective since the truck I got the column was hit very hard on the drivers door, enough to push the door so far the dash was buckled. When I installed the used column I installed all the connectors I thought... I have one single two wire connector coming from the harness it does not reach any other connector so one of two things might be the problem. first the bag is defective and second I missed a connector. does anyone have or know how many connectors there are on the 1998 tacoma, better yet does anyone have a diagram for the steering wheel connectors, so I can check my work.

Thanks everyone, nice to see a great site for resource info.

Take care all, Third day of snow in the high country, Should be an excellent ski year!
