    Yep. I will add that it is probably also not a great idea to leave ABS and traction control enabled.

    You can make the truck think it is in 4hi while actually being in 2hi. I don't have a locker don't know if it works in 4hi. If it does, then yes you can have locker in 2hi. Same goes for 2lo.

    If i remember correctly you can only use the locker in low range.

    If, instead of shorting the lines to ground with a hard jumper wire, you pull them "low" with a 1K ohm resistor, you won't destroy the ECU if you're wrong.

    Usual disclaimer applies.

    The bigger risk is running w/ the diff locked all the time. That's not a limited slip diff, so you're starting a death song for your diff the moment you lock it. 5K? 50K? Then you'll hear that grinding noise that signals "Maybe that wasn't a good idea."
