If it keeps flashing the locker is not fully engaged. You need to troubleshoot the locker it's self.

I'm curious as to how these lockers hold up at sustained high speeds.

I've taken mine up to 90 mph in 2 hi on ice and it was fine :notsure: But admittedly it was not sustained.

I vaguely recall some stress test data that concluded the trd locker was actually stronger than an ARB, which was stronger than a Detroit, but it was so long ago that I'm likely mistaken. I rarely even use mine even in 4lo but the idea of romping around with a locked rear axle, gettin' sideways in grocery store parking lots is very appealing.

Holy Hell, 90mph? Ice or not that's impressive in my book with that diff on lol.

It's kinda misleading as there was really not much force being put on the diff I feel. Basically felt like a dyno. I posted it in this thread before but here it is anyway:

They hold up very well, being close to the desert I see the prerunners romp all day thru sand washes, etc; at speed with no issues...

How strong is the Diff lock in 2hi if I do this mod ? could I spin/smoke the back tires on asphalt or is the gears in the diff lock when engaged to weak to smoke the tires from a stand still ?
