Grill trade, I have a brand new 15 chrome surround grill, looking for grey or black.

Plastidip that thing.

 

Might consider plastidip if I can't find a trade. I assumed plastidip might not hold up to road rash well.

Other members on here have had awesome results using this stuff. I did mine (super white) and as long as you take the time to prep correctly, it'll hold up pretty good! Don't skip steps. I learned the hard way and did it right the second time around. I heard dupli-color has a really good match for our paint colors too.

 

honesly either do It yourself or order from toyota parts barn. Very few people will make that trade. Not saying its impossible, just unlikely

 

I went the duplicolor route with mine, and haven't regretted it since.

Pretty cost effective that way too.

 

Parts barn has them for around $200. Plus some body shops have painted over the chrome for around $100. They usually don't guarantee the work because it is over chrome.

 

I have a silver streak mica taco with a color
Matched grill surround but I want a chrome grill surround. Mine is a 2006 though. I don't think the 15 and 06 are interchangeable.

 

Yeah I got mine from parts barn. Personally I think that's the best route to go.
