*WAS* leaning toward the deep inset version of the Satoshi grill. But I believe this writeup has flipped me to this "jamoshi" version. Very NICE!!!

Now I gotta decide that kind of mesh patten to put in it.

That looks really nice! Good job, man.

I'd like to see the fake "vents" on the sides of the grill next to the headlights cut out and replaced with this mesh to make them functional (and look better) - but from your photos, it doesn't look like there's a good way to attach it in that area.

In the photo from post #9 it looks like you'd be able to cut those black triangles off and accomplish what you're talking about.

I thought about that when I was making it. I'm sure with a little work I could accomodate this change, but you're right, it would be a challenge finding enough meat to grab on to with a similar stud mounting system like I used on the grille.

Maybe I could build up mounting bosses for the studs with bondo but again, you'd want to scuff up the surrounding plastic to get a good bond. However, the grille sees alot of vibration and you'd probably want something more reliably mounted.

If I get bored I'll look into making that change in the future. Will post pics if that happens. For the record, the whole thing is holding up great.
